Every year, June 5th is observed as World Environment Day to create awareness about environmental protection. As a part of this day, the NCC cadets of SN College observed Environment Day on June 5th, 2023.NCC Officer Vipin V K welcomed the participants and presided over the function. A seminar was presented on the topic ‘Microplastic: An environmental threat turned into a potential health hazard’ by the chief Guest Dr. M K Satheesh Kumar, Adjunct Professor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The planting saplings was inaugurated by Principal Dr. K P Prashanth. The saplings were also presented to the chief guest, Dr. M K Sathish Kumar. Environmental awareness activities were conducted under the auspices of the NCC.
